Post 8 is proud to be the home of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 8. S.A.L. members are active volunteers at Post 8 and at local veteran support organizations. They hold numerous fundraising and support-oriented events throughout the year, such as the annual Night at the Races and an annual dinner for patients from Walter Reed Medical Center. Many members at Post 8 are both Veteran members and members of the S.A.L.
S.A.L. Squadron 8 Members meet at Post 8 on the first Tuesday of every month.
