DIRECTIONS
Post 8 is located at the corner of 3rd St and D St, Southeast – just blocks from the U.S. Capitol Building and the National Mall. We are two blocks from Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, a major thoroughfare. We also are just blocks from the Capitol South Metro Station on 1st St and D St, Southeast. Use the elevator to the street level and then walk two blocks up D St, Southeast.
Guest Tip: The Post 8 Lounge is accessible through wide, ground-level doors on the 3rd St, Southeast entrance. The Lounge has two single occupancy restrooms. The unisex restroom has a wide entrance door and soft interior walls for those members and guests using wheelchairs. The Event Hall is accessible through a wide, ground-level door on the D St, Southeast entrance. It also has two single occupancy restrooms, where the unisex restroom has a wide entrance door and soft interior walls. Post 8 also has available for use onsite a narrow transport chair, provided by the Washington Area Wheelchair Society, and a walker.
